As Diamond Braces expands our operations, we are seeking an experienced HR Director to develop a scalable HR framework that supports our growing team. This role is crucial for enhancing our workplace culture and ensuring our teams are motivated, engaged, skilled, and well-supported in their roles.
You will partner closely with department leaders to foster an environment of superior employee support and engagement. This position will direct a dedicated team spanning Learning & Development, Recruiting, HR Operations, and Benefits. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with building processes from scratch and influencing organizational change rooted in a people-first mentality.
This role is In-Person/Hybrid based in our Englewood, NJ office and will require travel across the Tri-State area to support our office teams.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports organizational growth, enhances employee engagement, and maintains compliance with employment laws
  • Lead and develop the HR team to ensure the department can scale effectively with the growing needs of the organization. This includes direct oversight of Learning & Development, Recruiting, HR Operations, and Benefits teams.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment through effective employee relations, recognition programs, and retention strategies.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems that reflect company values, encourage performance excellence, and anticipates future talent needs including succession planning and growth initiatives.
  • Analyze and restructure organizational charts to improve efficiency and communication within the organization.
  • Lead change management initiatives to help the organization adapt to necessary changes and evolutions, including technology integration, workflow improvements, and cultural shifts.
  • Design initiatives aimed at boosting morale and decreasing turnover, such as employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and avenues for open communication.
  • Spearhead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of employee data to inform strategic decision-making within the organization, communicating plans to leadership.
  • Foster a culture of support and well-being in all employee interactions.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state and local legislation
  • Manage investigations and ensure appropriate disciplinary actions are taken, mediating disputes internally to prevent litigation and maintain and positive work environment.
  • Additional duties as directed by management company needs.
